Vice President of Operations, Derek Vannice, of CN Utility Consulting (CNUC) was quoted in a Midwest Energy news article titled, “Trees vs. Transmission: Utility Arborist Group Seeks Better Approach.”

Vannice was quoted as a founding member of the Right-of-Way Stewardship Council, which is “developing an accreditation process for utilities that meet certain environmental and community relations standards in their right-of-way management.” In the article, Vannice states that utilities may benefit by getting ahead of regulators through accreditation and other activities.
