CNUC Sponsors “Replanting Ringgold” Initiative

To recognize the anniversary of the 2011 tornado that nearly wiped out the city of Ringgold, Georgia, North Georgia EMC, with sponsorship from CN Utility Consulting (CNUC) and other affiliates, hosted “ Replanting Ringgold.”

The idea for the initiative came from CNUC Lead Consulting Utility Arborist Erica Lewis and is focused on restoring growth and beauty in the Ringgold community. So far, more than $3,500 has been raised to purchase and plant trees.

In addition, Lewis and CNUC Operations Supervisor Josh Beaver will be speaking to Ringgold students about tree care and how to plant the right tree in the right place to avoid conflicts with overhead and underground utility lines.
