CN Utility Consulting Director of Consulting Services, William Porter, will be presenting a Centre for Energy Advancement Through Technological Innovation (CEATI) Vegetation Management Task Force webinar on March 25. In the one hour presentation, Porter will examine methods of measuring UVM program success. He will also describe the positive and negative effects current methods for measuring electric reliability have had on UVM programs.

Using data provided by North American utilities, Porter will illustrate the relationship between reliability metrics and cyclical management. By evaluating reliability, compliance, cost, customer service, and risk based programs, Porter will explore how the current prioritization of objectives is impacting program sustainability and the safety of workers and the public.
