CNUC Industry Intelligence Conference Successful

Another successful CN Utility Consulting (CNUC) Industry Intelligence Conference was held November 14 in West Sacramento, CA. The conference was sponsored by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) and hosted by PG&E Operations Manager Stephen Tankersly. Utility vegetation management professionals from all over California were invited to attend.

CNUC VP of Operations Derek Vannice presented UVM communications tools and an industry update, Director of Consulting Services Will Porter spoke about CNUC benchmarking, and President Stephen Cieslewicz provided an overview of legal updates and issues. In addition, retired NERC Senior Investigator and current President of Novembri Consulting Robert Novembri provided insight about NERC and FERC. The conference ended in a facilitated group discussion of UVM best practices, and International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) CEUs were provided.

“The CNUC Industry Intelligence meetings have been an effective forum for us to bring our utility customers together to provide an update on recent issues and discuss topics that have an impact on all of us,” said Cieslewicz.
