Industry Resources

CNUC is at the forefront of innovation and technology in the UVM industry, which means our work doesn’t end when the job is complete. CNUC houses a division dedicated specifically to research and development that allows us to improve our own services, while leading the UVM industry forward.

We partner with regional and national industry associations in research, environmental stewardship, and pilot programs to lead change.

Our team is among the key players in creating industry standards, regulations, and vegetation best management practices (BMPs) — and we’re proud to share our expertise.

Recent Presentations

From best management practices in integrated vegetation management, utility arboriculture, and program review to customer service and leadership, our team presents on all aspects of the vegetation management industry.

Here, you will find the slide decks from our recent presentations.

UVM Survey

Our survey is the largest and most comprehensive of utility vegetation management (UVM) in North America. It is a utility company’s best source for comparing its UVM program to those of its peers and serves the industry as a whole by identifying trends, best practices, research and development needs.

CNUC surveys a large, diverse sample of utilities, addressing all facets of their programs. Our most recent study captured the opinions and data of utilities that collectively serve more than 36 million customers and manage 33 million miles of utility lines. The results are published for participants and our clients.
