Employee Spotlight: Mike Kopp
Spotlights“Prior to my entry into vegetation management, I spent 24 years in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman. I state this only to give you a perspective on my background.
Mr. Kopp is the project coordinator for my areas of responsibility. The purpose of this correspondence is to inform you of his contributions to our unique program from my perspective. I have worked in the Public Safety and Reliability Program for three years. During this time period, I have worked under two project coordinators prior to Mr. Kopp being promoted to this position. The difference between the previous support I received and that I have received from Mr. Kopp is like night and day!
He can always be counted upon to do anything and everything to support us in the daily execution of our duties. From field visits, to assisting us with difficult customers, he always has our back. If it were not for his leadership and support, our jobs would be almost impossible to do to the standards
required. As you have probably deduced from my background, I’m no spring chicken. But the one thing I have seen and worked for, is great leaders. In my opinion, Mr. Kopp is right up there. He leads by example (unusual in this day and age in my opinion), recognizes employees for great work, and ensures we maintain the highest standards. He is not just available to me, but to anyone that requires assistance down to the consulting utility forester working the projects in the field. I know that in the future, he will do great things for your company in positions of greater responsibility!”
