CNUC Receives UAA PinE Award

CNUC Receives UAA PinE Award

CNUC was one of three companies that received Utility Arborist Association (UAA)’s inaugural Partners in Excellence (PinE) Award. The PinE Award was established in 2016 for companies who go above and beyond to support UAA’s mission.

Criteria to receive the PinE Award include membership, sponsorship, advertising, active committee volunteerism and others. The criteria was quantified and assigned a value, adding up to a PinE score. The 2016 awardees were announced at the UAA Annual Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas in August.

Other 2016 PinE Award recipients include:

  • ACRT
  • Pacific Gas & Electric
  • Trees, Inc.

For additional information about the PinE Award, please visit the UAA website.

UAA is the leading North American organization for the enhancement of quality utility arboriculture and right-of-way management. UAA’s mission is to “drive excellence, innovation and change through professional development, outreach, research, and the promotion of best practices.”

CNUC believes that being actively involved with UAA is key to our employees’ professional development. All of our employees are UAA members, and a large percentage of our employees volunteer their time on committees to support UAA, and we’ll continue to volunteer our time and resources in the future.
