AnnouncementsCNUC promoted Matt Searels to vice president, effective October 2021. Searels’ promotion comes at a time of significant expansion for CNUC and represents the goals they have for long-term growth.
“Matt has been integral to our growth in our Eastern region for several years,” said Derek Vannice, president of CNUC. “He has the technical knowledge and experience in the industry that makes him an asset to our leadership team, while also possessing the ability to connect with our employees and clients. This position is a perfect fit for Matt, and I’m excited to have him continue to grow his career with us.”
Searels has served as the primary contact for CNUC utility clients in the Eastern region, ensuring high quality, safe and efficient production from employees. He supervised special projects and the daily operations for multiple transmission and distribution contracts concurrently. Searels is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, Utility Specialist, and a member of the ISA and Southern Chapter.
